International Day of Yoga 2026
The International Day of Yoga (IDY) in 2026 will mark a significant milestone — promoting yoga as a global movement that enhances physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. IDY has successfully completed 11 years, and in 2026, we are celebrating the 12th IDY in a truly global and inclusive manner. ‘Yoga Sangam’ or the main IDY event will orchestrate a synchronized mass yoga demonstration based on the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP).
We are pleased to announce the organization of Yoga Sangam as part of the nationwide celebrations for the International Day of Yoga (IDY) -2026 on 21st June 2026. This initiative will be conducted simultaneously at multiple locations across India, promoting the spirit of unity, health, and well-being through yoga.
Cultivate lifelong habits of holistic mental and physical wellness.
- Students across grade levels gathered on campus to practice the standard Common Yoga Protocol (CYP), fostering deep physical synchronization, discipline, and communal unity.
- Simple 5-minute micro-stretches and focused breathing loops (Pranayama) designed to release neck, shoulder, and spinal tension during intensive study breaks.
- Vibrant inter-house competitions, including yoga trivia quizzes, physical flexibility showcases, and wellness poster-making contests.
Yoga is not an optional fitness regimen; it is a life-saving tool. By teaching our children to slow down, control their breath, and ground their thoughts, we give them an emotional anchor that helps them navigate academic pressure and modern stress safely.
